1.
 Do I need an appointment to get an estimate, or can I just walk in?
 
You can walk in to get an estimate anytime Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm and from 8:00am until 12:00pm on Saturday. If you let us know in advance that you are coming in, we can make sure that one of our advisors is available and ready for you. You can schedule an appointment online or call before you come in.

It takes approximately 20 minutes to produce an estimate. We look at the areas of damage, take notes for the insurance company, and take pictures, if necessary. We enter the information in the computer, which calculates parts prices, labor prices, and material prices, and then it prints out an estimate.

We repair most make and model vehicles. In addition, we are a BMW and Mercedes-Benz Certified Repair Facility.
 
2.
 Do you work with insurance companies?
 
We work with all insurance companies and have direct repair relationships with many of them. Examples: Allstate, Geico, Nationwide, USAA, GMAC, Erie, Liberty Mutual, MetLife, Horace Mann, Discovery, Travelers, and others.

 Do you have a towing service?
 
Yes we do. We can arrange to have your vehicle towed from any location or you can call Williams Wrecker directly at (704)847-9309.

  My vehicle was towed to your shop. When will you have a written estimate?
 
Vehicles that are towed to our shop or vehicles that are non-drivable may require some disassembly before we can properly assess the damage. We can generally provide an estimate within 24-48 hours.
 
5.
 Do you have a night drop location?
 
Our night drop box is located next to our Service Department entrance. Just fill out the envelope with your name, address, daytime phone number, insurance company information, and the advisor’s name that you spoke to at City Chevrolet. Please mark “Body Shop” on the envelope. Place your key in the envelope, and place the envelope through the opening at the main Service Department entrance. We will retrieve it first thing the next morning.
 
 
6.
 How long will the repairs take?
 
The time that it takes to repair a vehicle differs with the severity of damage. Vehicles with minimal amount of damage may be repaired in as little as 1-3 days, while vehicles with severe damage may take several weeks to repair. The length of time that it may take to repair your vehicle will be discussed in detail at the time the estimate is produced.
 
7.
 Do I have to pay a deductible?
 
If you are involved in an accident that was your fault, you are responsible for paying your deductible. Your deductible is due when you pick up your vehicle. The amount of your deductible was agreed upon between you and your insurance agent when you took out your policy. Typically, deductibles vary from $50.00 to $1000.00. If you are involved in an accident that was not your fault, then typically the other party’s insurance is responsible for paying the entire amount.
 
8.
 I am going to need a rental car. Can you help arrange this for me?
 
Yes. Enterprise Rent-a-Car is located on-sight and there is also an Enterprise Rent-a-Car branch across the street. They will be happy to work directly with you or the insurance company handling your claim. Enterprise Rent-a-Car will pick you up for free.
 
9.
 How much do rentals usually cost?
 
Usually between $30.00 and $40.00 per day, depending on what kind of vehicle, and does not include any additional coverage that you may wish to purchase.
 
10.
Is your work guaranteed?
 
Absolutely! All of the work that we do is guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle. This includes parts, labor, paint, and materials.

After repairs are complete, we will give you an itemized list of work that has been performed to your vehicle, as well as a written warranty. We keep all of the information on file and stored in the computer for quick reference if there is ever a question about the repairs.
