Hendrick Motorsports and City Chevrolet...Two Champions, One Team

City Chevrolet would like to thank the folks at Hendrick Motorsports for allowing us to host a luncheon for their employees on Tuesday, October 27th. We thoroughly enjoyed taking this opportunity to introduce ourselves, meet you, and mingle throughout our short time together. At this luncheon, City Chevrolet's General Manager, Jerry Ferrell, addressed the employees and told them that City Chevrolet supports them and our team is here to help when needed. We wanted to make sure that the HMS employees were introduced to our management staff to ensure that when they purchase vehicles from, and service their vehicles at City Chevrolet, that the managers are here to ensure their complete satisfaction and make sure that everything goes just as we expect with all of our customers. As organizers of the luncheon, Nikki Potter (Internet Marketing Manager) and Heather Drayton (Assistant CDC/Internet Director), would like to extend a special thank you to Heather Buckelew, Executive Assistant at Hendrick Motorsports, as she was instrumental in the execution and success of this event. We look forward to working with each and every one of the Hendrick Motorsports Team members in the future and would thoroughly love to host another event such as this again, so thank you, again, for letting us come out and meet with you all! JD Power 2008 SSI Survey Results Show GM Dealers Outperformed The Industry Average

JD Power released their 2008 Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) survey results on Wednesday, November 19, and the results were outstanding. All 8 GM Brands outperformed the industry average! According to JD Power, "GM has some of the best dealers in the industry." Up five points from last year, this year's industry average was at 857. But what does it take to have completely satisfied customers? Surely it doesn't begin when customers drive over the curb. You have to begin taking care of your customers the moment they open the door to your dealership, go to your website, or pick up the phone to call you. The combined internal efforts of General Motors, along with the GM dealerships' commitment to exceed customers' expectations, contributes to the 8 GM Brands making the cut.
