THE ODDS OF BEING SELECTED DEPEND ON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED DURING THE PROMOTION PERIOD.

1. ELIGIBILITY & PRIZE: This sweepstakes promotion (the “Promotion”) is open only to persons who are legal residents of the Continental United States and are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of City Chevrolet, Hendrick Automotive Group, Hendrick Motorsports and their affiliates, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Promotion is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. One winner will be awarded one (1) 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe, 1LT with City Chevrolet 75th Anniversary branding (the “Prize”).

2. SPONSOR: The Promotion is sponsored by City Chevrolet Automotive Company, a North Carolina general partnership doing business as “City Chevrolet” at 5101 E. Independence Boulevard, Charlotte, North Carolina 28212 (the “Sponsor”).

3. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: Participation in the Promotion constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

4. ENTRY PERIODS: The Promotion begins on January 23, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) and ends on December 18, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. EST (the “Promotion Period”). Entries may be submitted only during Sponsor’s business hours posted from time to time. ENTRIES SUBMITTED BEFORE OR AFTER THE PROMOTION PERIOD WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

5. HOW TO ENTER: The Promotion is not offered electronically via the Internet or otherwise. You may only enter the Promotion in person at Sponsor’s place of business at the address listed in paragraph 2 above during the Promotion Period during regular business hours, by submitting to Sponsor the form required by Sponsor. Entrants will receive one entry for completion of the submission form during the Promotion Period; limit one entry per household. To enter without completing a submission form, please legibly write your name, address, telephone number and email address submit it to Sponsor at Sponsor’s place of business at the address listed in paragraph 2 above during the Promotion Period during regular business hours. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. THERE IS A LIMIT OF ONE ENTRY PER HOUSEHOLD, REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY ENTRY FORMS ARE SUBMITTED.

6. DRAWINGS: On or about December 18, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. EST, Sponsor will select the name of one potential winner in a random drawing of all eligible and proper entries received during the Promotional Period. The odds of being selected depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The odds of an entry winning any prize will be the same, whether the entry was standard or submitted by the alternate means of entry. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner by email and/or telephone. The Prize will be awarded only on verification by Sponsor that all Promotion requirements have been met by the winner and upon winner signing such acknowledgement as Sponsor may require. If a winner does not claim the Prize within 24 hours of notification, such winner may be deemed to have waived all rights to the Prize and an alternate entrant will be selected in his/her place in a random drawing of all entries received.

7. REQUIREMENTS OF POTENTIAL WINNERS: Except where prohibited by law, the potential winner will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (the “Affidavit/Release”) within five calendar days of being notified. If a potential winner fails to sign and return the Affidavit/Release within the required time period, an alternate entrant may be selected in his/her place in a random drawing of all entries received.
8. PRIZES: There will only be one winner. No Prize substitutions are allowed except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes are not transferable or refundable and must be accepted as awarded. Value of the Prize is estimated to be $25,600.80 (excluding taxes, charges and fees). This is a taxable event and all federal, state, and local taxes and expenses related to the receipt of a prize are the responsibilities of the winner. Sponsor will submit to the Internal Revenue Service all necessary or advisable documentation.

9. PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Promotion constitutes the entrant’s consent to the Sponsor’s use of his/her name, likeness, biographical information, endorsement and state of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration. Participation in the Promotion constitutes each entrant’s express written consent to Sponsor and its affiliates contacting entrant via any contact information provided by entrant, including without limitation wireless phone.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS/DISQUALIFICATION: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Promotion is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend or terminate the Promotion to address the impairment and then resume the Promotion in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the Prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper entry into the Promotion. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

11. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Hendrick Automotive Group, their related companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of the Prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Promotion; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (f) injury, death or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of the Prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Promotion, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

12. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate State court located in the State of North Carolina, Mecklenburg County. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of North Carolina, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of North Carolina or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of North Carolina.

13. OFFICIAL RULES AND PROMOTION RESULTS: A copy of these Official Rules, or the name of the Prize winner, may be obtained by sending a written request to Sponsor at the address listed in paragraph 2 above.

14. DATA PROTECTION NOTICE: Entrant’s personal information is protected by Sponsor’s privacy and safeguard policy. By participation in the Promotion, entrant consents to the sharing of entrant’s personal information by and between Sponsor and its affiliates.

Rick Hendrick's Generosity

Rick Hendrick, owner of several NASCAR teams and Hendrick Motorsports, and Chairman & CEO of Hendrick Automotive Group, came to visit "the new" City Chevrolet on Friday, November 13, 2009. City Chevrolet has recently experienced a "face lift." With mandates from Chevrolet on making all the Chevy stores look uniform, in addition to a little work that needed to be done, since City has been at its current location since 1966 without too many major renovations, we've had plenty of changes occur throughout the dealership over the past month.

While Mr. Hendrick (see photo above, first from right) was here, he got to chatting with Elizabeth Hastings (above, second from right) and her 9-year old son Andrew (above, second from left), who were purchasing a 2004 Suburban from Larry McCain (above, first from left). Elizabeth was expressing her gratitude to the team at City Chevrolet, specifically Larry McCain (salesperson), Bruce Forret (Pre-Owned Sales Director), and Jerry Ferrell (General Manager), for their assitance in helping her get the SUV she's been wanting.

The Hastings family has quite a story. Two years ago, son, Andrew, was hit (literally) by a car. Andrew lost his leg, and since then, has had 10 surgeries. His last surgery was in March of this year. Unfortunately, Elizabeth's husband, Sargeant Robert Hastings, had left for Iraq 2 days prior to Andrew's surgery and is still currently serving overseas. Andrew has a prosthetic leg and has had to have 8 prosthetics over the past two years, since he has to get a new one after each surgery and also as he grows. He is due to have at least 1 more surgery. In addition, Elizabeth Hastings is fighting Cancer.

Elizabeth tells us that Andrew has been asking for a Suburban for the past 2 years. He kept saying "We're never going to get a Suburban!" Needless to say, Andrew was surprised and delighted when they came in to finally get their Suburban. The Hastings have 3 children and the Suburban is much needed. Salesperson Larry McCain assured Elizabeth, "If it's the last thing on Earth I do, I'll get you a Suburban."

Elizabeth told Rick Hendrick this story when he was in here that day and Mr. Hendrick did something that took the breath away from Elizabeth and Andrew...he paid for their Suburban! As if meeting Rick Hendrick and having him pose for a couple pictures with her son wasn't exciting enough that day, they now had the Suburban of their dreams and it was already paid for. This is just one more thing that further displays the generosity displayed by Rick Hendrick. When I asked Elizabeth what she felt, she said, "It's amazing how God has been right there holding my hand through this ordeal. Andrew got hit and saw an angel on the side of the road. From that day, I knew that God was with us through the whole experience."

Hendrick Motorsports and City Chevrolet...Two Champions, One Team

City Chevrolet would like to thank the folks at Hendrick Motorsports for allowing us to host a luncheon for their employees on Tuesday, October 27th. We thoroughly enjoyed taking this opportunity to introduce ourselves, meet you, and mingle throughout our short time together. At this luncheon, City Chevrolet's General Manager, Jerry Ferrell, addressed the employees and told them that City Chevrolet supports them and our team is here to help when needed. We wanted to make sure that the HMS employees were introduced to our management staff to ensure that when they purchase vehicles from, and service their vehicles at City Chevrolet, that the managers are here to ensure their complete satisfaction and make sure that everything goes just as we expect with all of our customers. As organizers of the luncheon, Nikki Potter (Internet Marketing Manager) and Heather Drayton (Assistant CDC/Internet Director), would like to extend a special thank you to Heather Buckelew, Executive Assistant at Hendrick Motorsports, as she was instrumental in the execution and success of this event. We look forward to working with each and every one of the Hendrick Motorsports Team members in the future and would thoroughly love to host another event such as this again, so thank you, again, for letting us come out and meet with you all! OnStar Saves the Day...Again!

This is a real-life situation where, yet another customer, is help by OnStar. OnStar leads the industry in the most comprehensive options of Stole Vehicle Assitance services. Team Hendrick Leads NASCAR Banking 500

Way To Go Team Hendrick!
Hendrick Motorsports starts on the front row for the NASCAR Banking 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC on Saturday, October 17, 2009. Great job to the entire gang of Team Hendrick, as they have 4 Hendrick drivers out of the top 10. Jimmie Johnson, driver of the #48 Lowe's Chevrolet placed first during pole night and will be #1 on the line on Saturday night. His teammate, Mark Martin, driver of the #5 Pop-Tarts/Carquest Chevrolet, will literally be his right-hand man, starting second. Two other Hendrick Motorsports teammates, Brad Keselowski, driver of the #25 Go Daddy.com Chevrolet, and Jeff Gordon, driver of the #24 Dupont/Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Chevrolet, will begin the race in 9th and 10th, respectively. The NASCAR Banking 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC will air live, Saturday night, October 17, 2009 at 7:25pm ET on ABC. Tune in to cheer on your favorite Hendrick Motorsports drivers! Prelude to the Dream Race--September 9, 2009

After much anticipation, the "Prelude to the Dream" race will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2009. What to look forward to? Hendrick Motorsports driver, Jimmie Johnson, will be driving this #48 HendrickCars.com car at the Eldora Speedway in Ohio. The race will be televised on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 7:00PM ET on HBO, and expected to haver over 600,000 HBO pay-per-view watchers.

It's that time again!! MATTHEWS ALIVE! 2009 is on its way this Labor Day weekend, September 4th-7th, 2009 in Historic Downtown Matthews at Stumptown Park & Matthews Community Center, 120 S. Collision Center Service Advisor Receives Kudos!

Below is a letter written on June 3, 2009 about Collision Center Service Advisor, Jeff Laica: I recently had my car (2003 Hyundai Santa Fe) repaired at City Chevrolet due to a car accident and Mr. Laica was my collision specialist. Meet Kylie Blank!

MEET KYLIE BLANK...City Chevrolet's youngest patron. Kylie just turned 5 years old on May 6th and is the daughter of Joanne and Bobby Blank, longtime customers of our dealership. Mom says that Kylie loves coming in to see City's primary mascot, Precious the dog. Precious used to come into the dealership with the late Papa Joe Hendrick, and has since been attached to Jake McFee. Every morning, Jake picks up Precious from Mrs. Hendrick's home nearby and Precious spends the day with Jake running errands and "shaking hands and kissing babies" around town. Whenever her mom and dad come in to service one of their 2 vehicles purchased from City Chevrolet, Kylie spends most of her time petting and playing with Precious. She also recently met our newly-adopted secondary mascot, Blazer the cat. Blazer is a stray that periodically came around the dealership looking for food. Every morning an employee will feed Blazer, so now it's like he (or she...we don't know) is part of the family. Kylie absolutely loves animals, as their family has 2 cats and a boxer named Roxie. When she is not playing and taking care of her pets, Kylie enjoys playing with her friends at daycare, dancing, and singing along with her favorite singers, the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana. Queen City Corvette Club at City Chevrolet!

Ladies and Gentlemen...Start Your Engines!

The Queen City Corvette Club will be at City Chevrolet on Saturday, May 16 from 9am-3pm for their annual Charity Car Show. This event is FREE to the public. All you need to do is come on out and check out the rows of classic and new Corvettes that the Queen City Corvette Club members will have on display. From the "daily drivers" to the "mint condition," the QCCC has it all.

Throughout the year, the QCCC members raise money through the sponsorship of car shows, 50/50 raffles, and silent auctions. The club has a charity committee that is responsible for choosing the charities that the club will support on a yearly basis. The club supports both local and national organizations. Last year they raised money for the U.S.O, the Matthews Help Center, Operation Homefront, and the National Corvette Museum. As a separate event, the QCCC members "adopt" families of those who serve overseas in the Air National Guard. They are supplied with kids' ages and "wish lists" and are able to help these families have an extra-special Christmas.

To become a member of the Queen City Corvette Club, you need to own or lease a Corvette, and attend at least 3 business meetings and 2 social events within a 6-month time frame. Alex Anzaldua...Employee and Volunteer

City Chevrolet's Spanish-speaking Pre-Owned Salesperson, ALEX ANZALDUA, was featured in "The Charlotte Observer's Local & State" section on Tuesday, March 24, 2009. It was quite a moving article, written by Mark Price, about how Alex went from being a patient of the Ada Jenkins Center clinic to a volunteer. Alex jammed his toe last summer but did not get it checked out immediately. Due to the fact that Alex's hours had been cut at work and he no longer had health insurance, he waited nearly 2 months before seeking medical attention. Alex had attempted to get treated at 2 other free health clinics, but had been turned away because either he didn't live in the correct zip code or he did not have an appointment. It was then that he found himself at the Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson, the free health clinic that essentially saved Alex from losing his foot. Gangrene had set in and luckily, he only lost his toe instead of the entire foot. Alex was extremely grateful for the clinic and said, "I told the people at the clinic that, as soon as I was able, I was going to find a way to pay them back for helping me." Alex didn't waste any time living up to his promise. It has been 8 months since Alex's surgery and he continues to volunteer weekly at the Ada Jenkins Center, as he is a Spanish-language interpreter for this United Way agency that provides free health care to the residents of Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, and Mooresville. Nearly 50% of the visitors that the clinic treats are Latinos. Alex says, "They're like I was--no money and no health insurance. On top of that, many of them don't speak the language, so they let things go." This clinic is basically on the honor system. They don't require an appointment or proof of U.S. citizenship. The 2009 Chevy Malibu gets 26 mpg (22 city, 33 highway). As a fuel-friendly family sedan, the newest Chevy Malibu has some seriously strong credentials. Not only does it offer class-leading fuel economy topping out at an impressive 33 highway miles per gallon, it also edged out the Honda Accord to win the KBB.com 2008 Family Sedan Comparison Test.
The 2009 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid gets 21 mpg (21 city, 22 highway). Car-based crossovers continue to displace traditional SUVs in suburban driveways, but for big families with big passenger/cargo/towing needs, the full-size SUV remains indispensable. The Chevy Tahoe Hybrid is as green as it gets in this arena, and still offers towing capacity of up to 6,200 pounds.
The 2009 Chevy Traverse gets 19 mpg (17 city, 24 highway). Boasting more cargo volume than even its Chevy Tahoe stablemate, the Traverse is the biggest crossover on the road - yet it beats the fuel economy of many smaller three-row vehicles. DID YOU GET TO SEE THE CAMARO?

How much will the 2010 Camaro cost? It will start at a MSRP of $22,995, including Destination and Freight Charges and excluding tax, title, registration, and other dealer fees.
If I order one now, when will I receive it? Each Chevrolet dealer has been provided an estimated production guide number based on an estimated production horizon. Although GM does not guarantee an order production date, currently they have calculations on productions through Q3 2009.

City Chevrolet Holiday Party!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all! City Chevrolet employees had their holiday luncheon on Wednesday, December 17. City closed down for about an hour and a half so all employees could celebrate the season together during a catered lunch. Management recognized tenured employees from 5 years on up to 55 years! Brice McCain has been at City Chevrolet for 55 years, much longer than any other employee. For his 50th anniversary, Rick Hendrick honored Brice with a new truck!
In addition to the wonderful food and fellowship, Jerry Ferrell and Wayne Hasting gave away a big screen TV...and the lucky winner is Tony Glenn of the Collision Department!

Are You Ready For A Change?

With the biggest election in history said and done, the winner and new President of the United States is Barack Obama. Looking at more than four decades worth of elections, the 2008 election brought a record number of voters to the polls across the nation. This historic election selected the nation's first African-American president in over 200 years of history.
The lines for voting were longer than ever, as many people lined up to vote hours before the polls opened. Many local Charlotte voters brought chairs and even portable TVs. But don't forget...even the candidates got a vote. Early Tuesday, John McCain cast his ballot at a church near his home in Phoenix as supporters cheered "Go, John, go!" and carried signs reading "Use your brain, vote McCain!" Sarah Palin returned to the location of her political career roots and voted at Wasilla City Hall where she once presided as a small-town mayor. Barack Obama cast his vote at an elementary school in Hyde Park, Illinois as many on-lookers snapped photos. Joe Biden cast his ballot at a nearby poll in Delaware.
Although the media was quite biased, even more than usual this campaign season, the candidates persevered. While the popular vote was a slim margin of 52% to 46%, Obama took the electoral vote at a much greater gap of 349 to 173.

City Chevrolet Couple Marries!

The City Chevrolet team has long awaited the marriage of two of its finest employees. After over a year-long engagement, Heather Dozier and Adrian Drayton were married at Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic on October 6, 2008. Heather is the CDC Manager and Assistant to the Director of the CDC/Internet Department and has been with City Chevrolet for 4 years. Adrian is in our New Car Sales Department and started with City way back in 2001. Together with 22 guests, Heather and Adrian celebrated their marriage at a 5 o'clock ceremony under the gazebo at the resort. Group photos immediately followed the ceremony, and a festive cocktail party, which included plenty of Dominican food, concluded the wedding celebration. Their Best Man and Matron-of-Honor were none other than fellow City Chevrolet employees and friends, James and Nikki Potter. James started with City in 2000 and he and Adrian became friends in the New Car Sales Department. James is currently in the Internet Sales Department. Heather and Nikki became instant friends, as they worked side by side in the CDC Department. Recently Nikki has switched departments and is currently the Internet Marketing Manager. As you can see by the beautiful photos above, the wedding, weather, and company was perfect. Heather and Adrian honeymooned in Punta Cana for almost a week after their wedding. Congratulations to our City Chevrolet couple--Heather and Adrian Drayton!

Ricky Hendrick Memorial Charity Ride

The 4th annual Ricky Hendrick Memorial Charity Ride is scheduled for Sunday, August 24, 2008. Presented by AutoTrader.com, this 48-mile motorcycle ride will depart Knights Stadium in Fort Mill, SC at 11:30 am (staging begins at 7:30 am) and will conclude at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, NC. All proceeds will benefit the Hendrick Foundation for Children and go toward the Levine Children's Hospital at Carolinas Medical Center. The cost is $25 per rider, which includes lunch, a t-shirt, and a concert by country music artist Blake Wise. The Richard Petty Driving Experience will provide 3-lap "charity rides" for a $109 donation. Rick Hendrick says, "This couldn't happen without the support we receive from everyone who participates--our riders, volunteers, and corporate partners. It's just so humbling, and we appreciate everyone who comes out to join us for the event. We're raising money for a great cause and having fun doing it." 2009 Corvette ZR1 Allocation for City Chevrolet!

Chevrolet is pleased to introduce the 2009 Corvette ZR1 - an American supercar that brings the technology and engineering refinement of carbon fiber, ceramis and electronics together in a distinctive classic design. Chevrolet's goal with the new ZR1 is to show what an American supercar can deliver at a price that trumps exotics costing two, three or four times as much. We have been given congratulations here at City Chevrolet for earning the opportunity to become one of the select ZR1 Certified Corvette dealerships. As a ZR1 eligible dealership, we play a key role in launching the ZR1 and establishing its heritage as the world's most affordable and most practical "Supercar". An intregal part of the ZR1 business plan is to provide an allocation quantity of 2009 ZR1's in our dealership. Pilot to Copilot...

THE NEW CHEVY MALIBU TAKES FLIGHT!
While US Airways' headquarters is located in Charlotte, NC, what I saw during my recent flight to Buffalo was pleasantly unexpected. As the US Airways' flight attendant was coming around with beverages, I flipped down my tray, much to my surprise, to find a Chevy Malibu advertisement right in front of me! While I knew that the Chevy Malibu has surely made its impact on the road, little did I know the impact that it has made in the air! I felt a little strange as I reached over to put down the tray to my right to check and see if mine was a fluke. Sure enough, there was a 2nd ad for the Malibu coupled with OnStar. Everywhere I looked I saw traytables with full-size advertisements. I know the neighboring passengers looked at me sheepishly as I pulled out my camera to snap a shot, but I didn't care.
The slogan reads: "You relax. We navigate. Kind of like what you're doing now." It goes on to say "OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation. Standard for one year on Chevy Malibu. Not on Camry or Accord." Open your garage, your new 2008 Chevy Malibu is cleared for landing!

City Chevrolet's New Intern!

Meet Cevin Crawford...City Chevrolet's 2nd Official Summer Intern! That's pronounced like "Kevin" not "7." Cevin comes to us all the way from Northwood University, which is in Midland, Michigan. In the fall, he will begin his Senior year in Automotive Marketing, which is the chief major that Northwood University is known for. This is the 2nd year that Hendrick has participated in the summer internship program with Northwood University. Each intern is required to complete 400 hours within a 9-week period. Last summer, our intern, Ryan Koch, was placed in variable operations and spent the majority of his time in our CDC/Internet Department. This year, Cevin Crawford will be spending thie majority of his 9 weeks gracing our Service Department and shadowing Tripp Wilson, who is one of City's finest and senior Service Advisors.
When Cevin was asked what he wants to do after his last year at college, he said, "I want to work for a big company like Hendrick." He went on to say that maybe he'd like to follow in his dad's footsteps and own a store someday, as his father had opened his own pre-owned store in 1981 called Tuscola Brokers.
I asked Cevin what the best part of interning at City Chevrolet is, and he responded, "the reputation and how business is run...you take care of the customer." When I asked him who the nicest person is that he has met so far, he quickly responded, "Tim Whitten...he's fun!" Since Tim is Cevin's manager for the summer and will ultimately determine Cevin's "internship fate," that was a wise, yet candid response!
"One last question," I said. "Why did your parents name you 'Cevin' with a 'C' and not a 'K'?" Cevin chuckled a bit and said "The night before I was born, my dad had a dream that one day I would own a dealership and it would be called 'Cevin Crawford Chevrolet'...all C's!" With a foresight like his father's, combined with the drive and determination that we've witnessed from Cevin, watch out Michigan dealerships, watch out!

Employee of the Month-May 2008

Congrats to Wayne Helms, who is City Chevrolet's Employee of the Month for May, 2008! Wayne works in our Parts Department as a delivery driver and also assists in our Shipping & Receiving Department, and has been with City Chevrolet for about 3 years. General Manager, Jerry Ferrell, says that he is truly a great employee and a real "family man." When Wayne's direct manager, Chris Knight, was asked what he thought about Wayne, he said, "What stands out is definitely his concern for others." He went on to say that he is a good, Christian man, has a wife and 2 daughters, and is an extremely hardworking employee.

We'd also like to say congratulations to our 2 recent winners of $500...John Brynarsky of the Body Shop and Ashley Mangum of the Accounting Office. Both John and Ashley took home $500 which they won during our monthly employee drawing where each employee has a chance to win anywhere between $100 and $500! Congrats!

Salespeople of the Year!

City Chevrolet's Salespeople of the Year for 2007!

Congratulations to the top 3 salespeople at City Chevrolet for achieving one of, if not the greatest honor at our dealership for a salesperson. From left to right, James Potter (New Car Sales), Dan Franklin (Commercial Sales), and Phil Goodin (Pre-Owned Sales) are the 2007 recipients.

James Potter just celebrated his 8th anniversary with City Chevrolet, and has earned himself a position in the Internet Sales Department, where he primarily assists customers who have been shopping for a vehicle via the Internet. While James is certified to sell all vehicles, his primary focus is commercial and new vehicle sales. James is known as the dealership's "guru" when it comes to knowledge of vehicles. When you meet James, his positive attitude and vast product knowledge will make you a customer for life.

Dan Franklin started in our Commercial Department about 5 years ago. Dan's dedication has earned him the title of "Pinnacle Domestic Salesperson of the Year" for the entire Hendrick Automotive Group for 2007. He will be honored at the company trip in Orlando, Florida in March, 2008. Dan's motto is "24 / 7 / 365," meaning that he markets himself as being available to his customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. When you meet Dan, you'll see how his commitment to his customers and to his employer, has earned him that title.

Phil Goodin will be celebrating his 2 year anniversary with City Chevrolet in March. While still relatively new to the dealership, he is well-seasoned to the business and has what it takes to keep his customers happy. His customers continually return and ask for him by name, which is evident in his 100% customer satisfaction score. When you meet Phil, it will be as apparent to you as it is to us, that he has a long career ahead of him with City Chevrolet.

Employee of the Month!

City Chevrolet is proud to announce our Employee of the Month award to Heather Dozier for the month of October and Bryan Outen for the month of November.
Heather Dozier has been with City Chevrolet in our CDC department since February 2005 and has been a wonderful asset in customer service and to her fellow co-workers.
Bryan Outen has been with us since August of 2000 in the service department. He currently works prepping all of our new vehicles making them showroom ready.
Both employee's received an Employee of the Month trophy and a cash award! These nominations are selected on a monthly basis by all of the department heads.

New 2008 Malibu arriving in November

2007 Chevrolet Impala

Chevrolet's premium mid-size sedan the Impala offers a unique blend of comfort, captivating performance and surprising versatility, apart from a choice of four models and three engines to choose from. ‘America’s Sweetheart’ of the 60s, the Chevrolet Impala was a large family sedan with an undeniable regal demeanor; right through to the early 70s.
