Blue Devil vs. Blue Angel

As a feature on MotorTrend.com, they compared the speeds of the Blue Devil Corvette against a Blue Angel. The Chevy Devil on the ground beats the Angel in the air in the tests from "0-30" with both "Blues" clocking in at 1.6 seconds, all the way up to "0-70" where the Blue Angel clocked in at 4.2 seconds and the Blue Devil at 4.1 seconds. However, once the afterburners kick in, the Blue Angel goes full speed ahead and there was no stopping it, clocking in the "0-170" in 10.9 seconds, and the Blue Devil Corvette at a respectable 23.1. Who else other than a Chevy Blue Devil would even dare face a little ol' airplane anyway?

All Cameras On Rick Hendrick's Camaro!

Mr. Hendrick...Say "CHEESE!" What an exciting day it was at the Oshawa, Ontario General Motors assembly plant on Monday, March 16, 2009. Owner of the largest privately-held automobile organization and Hendrick Motorsports, Rick Hendrick brought a team of roughly 17 of his top dealers from Charlotte, NC to commemorate the first official day of production for the all-new 2010 Chevy Camaro. The Camaro was discontinued from the Chevrolet line-up back in 2002 and has become one of the most highly-anticipated new-car launches in automotive history.
General Motors has already pre-sold 14,000 of the new Camaros. However, Rick Hendrick paid a pretty penny to be able to get the 1st Camaro off the production line...$350,000! This was done earlier in 2009 at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event which guaranteed Mr. Hendrick the 2010 Camaro with a VIN that ended in 0001. All of the proceeds from this sale went to the American Heart Association. Chevrolet had also agreed to sell him VIN 0002, which onlookers were pleased to capture on their cameras, as well.
VIN 0001 was a loaded Black Camaro SS with the optional Inferno Orange leather interior. VIN 0002 was a Silver Ice Metallic Camaro SS with Black leather interior. Rick Hendrick is truly a motivational speaker and he rejuvenated the General Motors' factory employees by saying, "I want to tell you loud and clear that these products that you are building today are the best I've ever seen in the 33 years I've been a dealer. We needed the rebirth of the Camaro." He then proceeded to sign t-shirts and memorabilia for the factory employees, as many proved to be avid NASCAR fans.
Amongst the team of top dealers that Rick Hendrick had accompany him to this monumental occasion, was City Chevrolet's very own General Manager and Executive Vice President, Jerry Ferrell. Jerry was so excited upon his return and shared the day's events with any employee who asked and was proud to show his photos of this once-in-a-lifetime event.
If you would like to order your very own 2010 Camaro, visit http://www.citychevrolet.com/ and click on the Camaro on the homepage. Or, call our Camaro Enthusiasts at 1-866-409-3466 to claim yours! To leave you with a word from Mr. Hendrick: "You build 'em and we'll sell 'em."

DID YOU GET TO SEE THE CAMARO?

JD COLLIER did and he is the winner of 2 free oil changes and a free detail from City Chevrolet! I do hope you made time to visit City Chevrolet this morning to grab a look at the highly-anticipated 2010 Camaro! Lots of people came out to see it and to place their order to get the hottest new addition to the Chevy lineup. Camaro and muscle car enthusiasts came with smiles on their faces and cameras in hand to snap some shots of this menace of a vehicle.
Everyone is curious about the vehicle that has been under wraps for so long. Here are a few questions that have been on people's minds:
How much will the 2010 Camaro cost? It will start at a MSRP of $22,995, including Destination and Freight Charges and excluding tax, title, registration, and other dealer fees.
If I order one now, when will I receive it? Each Chevrolet dealer has been provided an estimated production guide number based on an estimated production horizon. Although GM does not guarantee an order production date, currently they have calculations on productions through Q3 2009.
Which Chevrolet dealer should I order my Camaro from? Well, City Chevrolet, of course! We have been in business 75 years this year and we are the top-volume Chevy dealer in the Carolinas. Our Customer Satisfaction rating is amongst the top of the region and we have down-to-earth, highly-trained sales professionals here to answer any questions you have.
When will the Camaro Convertible come out? The convertible is scheduled to start production in the summer of 2010 and will be a 2011 model. As of right now, we may be seeing the Camaro Convertible possibly in December, 2010 or January, 2011.
We are always here to answer any questions you may have, so feel free to contact City Chevrolet's Internet Department at 1-866-409-3466 or visit us online at www.citychevrolet.com.
